We are pleased to announce that Com.It.Es. will be commemorating the 122nd Anniversary of the “Wreck on the Wabash” with a Memorial visit to Adrian on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
We are honored and pleased that the Consul of Italy in Detroit , Allegra Baistrocchi will be with us.
Our dear Adrian friends, former Adrian Mayor Jim Berryman, Adrian Mayor Angela Heath, Dr. Kyle Griffith, Assistant Administrator Lenawee School District and Dr. Laurie Perkins – Michigan historian will also be in attendance.
To commemorate the 122nd anniversary of this tragedy, Com.It.Es – Detroit is hosting a memorial visit to Adrian.
There will be a graveside prayer service at Oakwood Cemetery at 11:30am, presided by Father Enzo Addari.
Following is a buffet lunch at Adrian College.
